JDRF Ride to Cure 2009

The Molly's Milers team is trying to make a difference in the fight against Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. This team is populated by bike riders who combine their love of cycling with a connection to Juvenile Diabetes and a passion to find a cure for the disease. Some are connected to the group by knowing Molly. Others have their own reasons to Ride for the Cure.

Molly is a young woman close to our hearts who was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes 5 years ago. The Molly’s Milers team was started out of the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of JDRF and it now consists of a group of family, friends, co-workers, ex-coworkers and other good folk from places like Massachusetts, New York and North Carolina. Molly’s Milers are participating in the Ride to Cure at Killington and Death Valley fundraisers in 2009 in Molly’s honor.

This is the FIFTH year for Molly's Milers to do a Ride to Cure and their sixth fundraiser (we also did a "Walk to Cure" in 2004). The bicycle riders will be doing 35, 65, or 105 miles in one day and need to find sponsors to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes. A few members of the team are also riding in the Cincinnati Chili Century Ride to raise money for JDRF.
